2. The Best of Kona Festival

The Best of Kona Festival, a vibrant one-day event, combines art, culture, entertainment, food, and education to showcase the best of Kona, from the best local musical performers on the stage and fashion designers showing off their creations at the fashion show to artists displaying their work.
The festival features over 50 vendors offering demonstrations, discounts, and giveaways, live music from great bands playing throughout the day, a sunset circus and fire show, delicious local food, and a beer garden at Kona Inn. 3. Kokua Kailua Spring Concert

Celebrate spring by enjoying an hour of free Hawaiian music by the award-winning band Kulāiwi-Native Lands at the Kokua Kailua Spring Concert. The concert, hosted by the Kailua Village Business Improvement District and presented by the Hawaii Tourism Authority, is on Sunday, April 16, at 4 p.m. at Emma’s Square on Ali’i Drive across from Hulihe’e Palace in Kailua Kona. 
Kulāiwi-Native Lands’ native Hawaiian band members will perform songs from their new album, Kulāiwi-Native Lands! that won Hawaiian Album of the Year and the Hawaiian Engineering Award of the Year, and the band received the Group of the Year award at the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts 2022 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards.

4. Spring Fun Fest

You and the kids will have a blast at the Spring Fun Fest hosted by Kuleana Education: a private elementary and middle school in Kona at 74-420 Mamalahoa Highway in Holualoa, about seven miles away. 
This exciting kiddies’ fest is on Sunday, April 16, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. There will be several colorful bounce houses, a petting zoo full of cute and cuddly animals, plenty of games to play, face painting, crafts to make, delicious food to eat, and prizes to win.
