Design

Even the lowest Pilot trim level has comfort and convenience features that all occupants will appreciate. The one-touch, fold-flat outboard seats in the second row are an enormous help when you need extra space. Performance

The 2024 Pilot has a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 285 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission with shift-by-wire and paddle shifters. The base model Pilot has five drive modes: Normal, ECON, Snow, Tow, and Sport. Other trim levels add Trail and Sand modes.
Although front-wheel drive is standard on the lowest trim level and other models, all-wheel drive is available for them. It’s standard on the Trail Sport and the top two trims. The base model has remote engine start, automatic brake hold, an EcoAssist system, hill descent control, and hill start assist. The standard Active Noise Cancellation feature helps keep the cabin quiet while on the road.

Technology

The base model Pilot has a 7-speaker audio system with speed-sensitive volume control and a 7-inch Driver Information screen. The front console holds a 2.5 amp USB-A data port and 3.0 amp USB-C charging port, while two 3.0 amp USB-C charging ports are located in the second row.
The lowest trim level also has an infotainment system with a 7-inch color touchscreen, Bluetooth streaming audio HandsFreeLink, and SMS text messaging. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Compatibility are also standard.

Safety isn’t an issue with the 2024 Pilot, it has a perfect 5-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Plus, Honda has installed an impressive number of safety features even in the lowest trim level, including:
