Design

Lovely and useful design elements abound on the 2024 Accord’s interior and exterior. Attractive honeycomb-shaped trim flows across a wide expanse of the dashboard, cleverly hiding its vents. The front seats have been redesigned to provide more support, making even the longest road trips so much more comfortable in a cabin kept nice and quiet by active noise cancellation. Even the trunk has been refreshed: it now provides almost 17 cubic feet of storage space.

Performance

A 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine is standard on the line’s lowest trim levels, providing 192 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque. The 2024 Accord’s excellent fuel economy is estimated at 29 mpg for city driving and 37 mpg out on the highway. All trims are front-wheel drive with some very welcome standard features even on the base model, including Remote Engine and Push Button Start. Automatic Brake Hold, Hill Start Assist, and an EcoAssist System are standard, as well.

Technology

A 10.2-inch configurable Driver Information Interface and 4-speaker audio system with speed-sensitive volume control are standard on the Accord’s lowest LX trim level. A 7-inch color touchscreen is the centerpiece of the trim’s standard infotainment system, featuring Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, Bluetooth wireless hands-free calling and streaming audio, text messaging, a stolen vehicle locator, and WiFi hotspot capability. A 3.0-amp USB smartphone and audio interface, plus a 3.0-amp USB-C charging port are found on the front console.
